Take 5

Let’s start this this Passover season brand new.

Romans10:9-10, rededicating our lives and hearts, our future to Jesus Christ. Invite Him to be our savior but also our Lord, our Jehovah Adonia.

Romans 10:9-10 states that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, as it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and with your mouth that you confess and are saved

surrender all our plans hopes dreams to His plan,

Jeremiah 11:29 says He has thoughts plans of hope and a future for us. Why carry the burden alone. Not only did he redeem us from sin, sickness, disease , addictions, fears He also leads us into His righteousness His good path for us.

Jeremiah 29:11 states, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

As you make your Take 5 list: the top 5 categories you want to improve and succeed in.

invite The Holy Spirit to help you make this list so He can hover over the chaos in your life and speak divine order into every place.
Divine order isn’t an OCD of perfection but a peace and flow that helps create order where needed. Perhaps routine changes that create more peaceful bedtimes and mornings.
For example: my list starts with

1.Health: a fasted approach to eating when hungry , stopping at comfortable and making choices that are best for my body.

Nights are the hard part, tv involves snacking 🤪. But if I Take 5 seconds to ask if my body is hungry and what it needs if so, even sweets are ok in moderation, gotta have some dark chocolate in my world. Anyway, take a breath and pondering a moment will help me surrender to Christ to make the best decision I can.

I can add

Hense, no guilt or regret allows me to feel joy and peace instead.

Spiritual is always the top for me as well, I start each day with time seeking the Lord, reading the word, prayer etc and I love to journal , dreams prayers, what scripture spoke to me this morning and ponder on that throughout my day. Helps me in the rest of my daily activities.
